Alleged cop-killer, Sopranos thesp, Lilo Brancato Jr. is set to go to trial next month.
Brancato, who played a wiseguy wanna-be on the HBO series, will be tried separately from his co-defendant Steven Armento in the 2005 killing of a New York City police officer.
Prosecution charges that Brancato and Armento pulled a B&E into an apartment, looking to score prescription narcotics.
NYPD Officer Daniel Enchautegui confronted the pair as they engaged in shootout, resulting in the officer’s death by the accused Armento.
Brancato claims he didn’t know Armento has a gun.
Brancato is probably best known for playing Robert DeNiro’s son in the cautionary A Bronx Tale.
Guess he didn’t heed dad’s advice about staying out of trouble.
