One Tree Hill starlet left unable to speak after emergency operation.
Bush, 26, had her swollen tonsils removed and she is treating the down time like a holiday on - ice cream - by taking some well-deserved time off from the CW show.
"I had my tonsils taken out 10 days ago, so I'm not doing anything," she said.
"It's kind of like a forced vacation and it's the first time I've taken a break in the six years since the show started.
"And I'm really kind of enjoying it -- aside from the pain!"
