ROSIE O’DONNELL told to quit whining about stink-o career by adopted son, Parker!
The 50-year-old comic, who made an ill-fated return to daytime TV with “The Rosie Show,” has been miserable since Oprah Winfrey’s OWN channel canceled the show in March.
But now Parker, 17, a standout cadet at Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne, Pa., has told his mom to stop feeling sorry for herself and get back to work – or she could lose the love of her life, 41-year-old fiancee Michelle Rounds!
“Since Rosie’s talk show was panned by critics and taken off the air, she’s done nothing but bitch and moan about it to anyone who will listen to her,” said a source.
“Rosie thinks she should have been given more time to make the show work. Now she’s wary of any attempt at a successful return to TV.
“Parker finally got fed up and told his mom in no uncertain terms to seize control of her life, step out of her funk, and look for work.
“Parker stressed to his mom that Michelle, whom he adores, told him she’s getting tired of Rosie’s downer moods. Parker fears she might walk away. It was tough love, but he doesn’t want to see them split.
“The way Parker told his mom to get a grip really shows he’s maturing into a strong-minded boy. Let’s hope Rosie sees he’s deeply concerned about her and listens to her son.”
