The trial against Snoop Dog by a man who claims the rapper beat him begins.
In a civil suit, Richard Monroe, Jr., alleges that after jumping onstage during a concert he sustained serious injuries after the rapper and his entourage beat him during a Seattle concert two years ago.
Dog was in the house for jury selection and was also present when a videotape of the incident was played to jurors by Monroe’s attorney.
Monroe claims that he thought the rapper gave him permission to join the troupe onstage during a perf of "Gin and Juice" but was then beaten and robbed by the defendant and his posse.
Monroe’s suit claims he is due $$22 million in damages from the rapper aka Calvin Broadus.
