HAWAII FIVE-O star ALEX O’LOUGHLIN nearly burnt to a crispy crème as inferno erupts.
Alex who stars as action-packed thrill maker Steve McGarret on the hit CBS reboot "Hawaii Five-O" was the one who needed rescuing.
The hunky thesp, 39, who lives in a $4 million Diamond Head home in O’ahu was in big trouble – not from arch enemy Wo Fat but a near-deadly inferno.
Alex O’s neighbors told Hawaii News Now that an explosion at the Five-O abode erupted at3:45 P.M.
The garage door was sent hurtling off its hinges by the force off the blast as black plumes of smoke snaked out of the garage.
50 of the 50th State’s Bravest — the Honolulu Fire Department — had the inferno until control by 4:11 p.m.
"The first company arriving found smoke and flame coming out of the garage," said HFD Capt. Terry Seelig. "The fire appears to have caused heavy damage to the garage and its contents and nothing to the house."
O'Loughlin, resides in the Diamond Head home with GF Mailia Jones, their year and a half old son Lion and two older children from prior relationships.Thankfully, no one was home when the fire erupted.
Alex later surveyed the damage, conservatively estimated at $110,000.
An investigation is pending as to the cause of the flaming luau.
