Kirstie Alley’s dramatic 50-pound weight loss has led to love!
The “Cheers” star, who has battled binge eating and yo-yo dieting for decades, has finally achieved her dream figure, and pals said she’s set her sights on a new man: dashing ad exec and TV personality Donny Deutsch!
Kirstie, 64, “fell head over heels” for the divorced dad of three when the two appeared together on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Jan. 6.
“Babe, I’ve had a major crush on you,” silver-haired Donny, 57, gushed to Kirstie.
A pal of Kirstie’s said: “There was chemistry between the two right off the bat!”
Co-host Mika Brzezinski was so embarrassed by the sparks flying that she interjected, “Stop falling in love!”
A pal of Donny’s added: “It’s a perfect match! He can empathize with Kirstie’s weight issues because he’s had his own battle of the bulge.”
The 5-foot-8 star owes her slim-down to the Jenny Craig diet program. She’s gone from a size 12 or 14 to a size 6 or 8 in eight months, according to the company, and shed a whopping 50 pounds.
And as The ENQUIRER has reported, her man troubles are as famous as her weight woes. The twice-divorced mother of two hasn’t dated anyone publicly since 2000.
In 2011, Kirstie set her sights on her “Dancing with the Stars” partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who was nearly 30 years her junior. But, as we reported, hunky Maks was so turned off by the cougar’s sexual advances that he considered switching dance partners.
Said the pal: “Now Kirstie’s hot for Donny, and the two have been blowing up the phone and planning a date.”
