SINGING SENSATION SUSAN BOYLE SECRET SORROW

description

Overnight worldwide sensation Susan Boyle songs belie her breaking heart
.
Stricken by grief after her beloved mother died, Susan couldn’t bear to sing for two years. But the shy spinster with the voice of an angel finally plucked up the courage to audition for the TV show Britain’s Got Talent to fulfill her mum’s dying wish.

Over a zillion people have logged on to YouTube  to watch her spine-tingling performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" from the musical Les Miserables and Susan confessed every note is a tribute to her late mom.

"Mom lived with me, and she was my life," admits 47-year-old Susan – the youngest of nine siblings – who devoted herself to caring for her ailing mother after her father passed away ten years ago.

"After she died two years ago I suffered depression and anxiety. But out of the darkness came light."

Her mother Bridget had always loved Britain’s Got Talent and urged her to enter, Susan recalls.
"She said I had a fantastic voice, but I never thought I was good enough. It was only after she died that I plucked up the courage to enter," she admitted.

"I realized I wanted to make her proud of me, and I wanted to fulfill her wish. Now I hope she and my dad Patrick are looking down on me. They’ll be so proud."

Susan’s close friend Jackie Russell told The ENQUIRER: "Susan was heartbroken when her mom died at 91. She’d devoted her life to caring for Bridget, and it took her a long time to get over it when she died."

Now life has changed forever for the frumpy-looking churchgoer who just had an image shattering makeover to the acclaim of fans worldwide.

Until just weeks ago, Susan – who lives alone with her cat Pebbles in a small village in Scotland -says success will give her the last laugh over cruel bullies who taunted her as a child.

"I still see the kids I went to school with. But look at me now – I’ve got the last laugh."
