Reportedly, SIMON COWELL thought his booty call babe was nothing more than a “friends with benefits” thang never thinking his sperm would “go to Hollywood”.
The NY Daily News reported that the X-Factor kingpin, 53, was hornswoggled and goggle-eyed when he learned his pal’s wife Lauren Silverman, 36, was now packing some future Idol DNA in her womb.
“The pregnancy has taken him by surprise. He assumed she was using birth control,” a source close to Cowell told the NY tab.
“Simon thought this was a causal relationship — friends with benefits. The pregnancy was not planned.”
“He is feeling tricked,” added the pal.
“No question that Simon will want to be part of the baby’s life, but I’m not so sure he wants to be part of Lauren’s.”
Silverman, who’s been pap snapped partying with Cowell and her hubby last year in the Caribbean, is three months pregnant and in the middle of a very nasty divorce from her hubby real estate mogul Andrew Silverman, 37, who filed for divorce July 15 in Manhattan Supreme Court.
The divorce filing names Cowell as a co-respondent, suggesting Lauren and Simon’s "horizontal mambo with consequences" will be a BIG issue in their divorce fight.
