Cops bust two idiots who go all Weekend At Bernie’s with dead pal, booze AND strippers!
Robert Young, 43, and Mark Rubinson, 25, from Colorado, are accused of dragging a dead friend out for a sexy boozy night out on the town – just like the 80s comedy Weekend at Bernie's.
Cops, who were not amused, charged the party pals with abusing a corpse, identity theft and criminal impersonation as a result.
Young, 43, claims he found pal Jeffrey Jarrett, a 43-year-old realtor, dead in his Denver home. Police said they stuffed his corpse into the trunk of an SUV and went wild.
They used Jarrett’s credit card to pay their bar tabs, going to multiple bars and restaurants with the corpse still in the car, police said.
The fiends rounded their night off by stopping by a strip club.
About 4 AM after they were spent , Young and Rubinson FINALLY told authorities about the soon-to-be-rotting corpse in the car.
"This is a bizarre and unfortunate crime," Denver Police Department spokesman Sonny Jackson said.
"This isn't anything you want to have happen to a loved one. You want them treated with respect in death."
No cause of death has been determined yet, RadarOnline.com reported.
