SICK OF LILO & SHEEN? THERE’s AN APP FOR THAT

description

Had it up to HERE reading constantly about LINDSAY LOHAN, MAD MEL and CHARLIE SHEEN? Guess what – there’s an app for THAT.

A new program, "Silence of the Celebs" may allow the user to filter out all mentions of an overexposed celeb from electronic news sources by entering their names.

"We were on news sites and one of us said, ‘Why are we still seeing all this stuff about Charlie Sheen? Who cares? This has got to stop," creative director Michael Surtees, claimed to  the NY Daily News.

Lead developers created the program, which makes headlines that contain user-selected keywords (like "Lohan") disappear.

So far, the app has only been successful on only a handful of sites.

And the program is full of bugs –  if you want to get rid of "Lindsay Lohan" from newsfeeds, you’ll still get plenty of content about  fame mongering dad, Michael.

And you’re absolutely boned when it comes to The Kardashian Clan.
