Shia LaBeouf was busted by LA cops on suspected DUI charges.
LaBeouf pickup collided with another vehicle around 3 AM at a West Hollywood intersection. He was headed north on La Brea and tried to turn onto Fountain Avenue.
"It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest," Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Scott Wolf said.
The Transformers star was booked and then released.
The ‘son’ of Indiana Jones injured his hand and knee in the incident and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for treatment.
LaBeouf’s handler said the star underwent hand surgery. He expects to be back before the cameras on Transformers II within a month.
This isn’t the first time LaBeouf’s had trouble with the law – he was arrested after a confrontation with Chicago Walgreen’s guards last year and was smoking where he shouldn’t in Burbank in February.
