The View has confirmed that they’ve hired Sherri Shepherd as a co-host for the 11th season of the show. After months of speculation, Shepherd officially became one of the girls on Monday, Sept. 10. Her arrival marks the first time the morning gabfest has enjoyed a full cast since the depature of Star Jones and Meredith Vieira. Whoopi Goldberg recently joined the show, replacing Rosie O’Donnell who quit the show in May. Shepherd was formally on ABC’s Less Than Perfect.
