According to a police affidavit released Monday, Charlie Sheen‘s wife Brooke Mueller told police Charlie threatened to have her killed after she asked him for a divorce during a Christmas morning argument in Aspen.
Brooke alleged Charlie pinned her down on a bed, put a knife to her throat and said, “You better be in fear. If you tell anybody, I’ll kill you.” And, Brooke told police Charlie said, “Your mother’s money means nothing. I have ex-police I can hire who know how to get the job done and they won’t leave any trace.”
According to the police affidavit, Charlie denies threatening Brooke with a knife but did admit to having a folding knife in his travel bag and to having broken two pairs of Brooke’s eyeglasses. Charlie said the couple had been having marital problems and that Brooke “abuses alcohol.” The former Hollywood bad boy also said Brooke threatened to divorce him and take the children.
Police officer Rick Magnuson noted that he saw “red marks on the upper part of the front of [Brooke’s] neck” and that Brooke said she was afraid she was going to die.
