Charlie Sheen has entered rehab, his rep confirmed.
"As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility," his publicist Stan Rosenfeld told media.
"He will take some time off his series Two and a Half Men.
"He has asked that his privacy be honored. No further statements are planned."
As The ENQUIRER reported previously both Charlie and his wife Brooke‘s Xmas blowout resulting in Charlie’s arrest was furled by a wild night of the couple boozing and using cocaine.
Brooke is currently in rehab.
After suspending production on the hit series, Charlie’s bosses said via statement: "CBS, Warner Bros. Television and (Executive Producer) Chuck Lorre support Charlie Sheen in his decision today to begin voluntary inpatient care at a treatment center.
"We wish him nothing but the best as he deals with this personal matter."
