Leave it to Charlie Sheen! Who else would have the chutzpah to call ex-wife Denise Richards from jail after being incarcerated for a domestic dispute with current wife Brooke Mueller?!
Despite his jailhouse blues Charlie did find time to call his two daughters, Lola and Sam, to wish them a merry Christmas, ex-wife Denise Richards told Oprah Winfrey.
Richards says that Charlie called collect from his cell.
"It’s sad. It’s a sad situation," Denise said. "Their dad was in jail on Christmas."
Denise also revealed that her daughter discovered her wayward dad was in jail from one of the children in her kindergarten class.
Meanwhile Brooke Mueller has been released from the hospital and she and Charlie are said to be attempting to work things out.
