Sharon Osbourne The Talk Rape Joke

Sharon Osbourne has been forced to apologize over laughing at rape!
The outspoken host of “The Talk” was discussing “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice, who has been promoting her new book about doing time in prison for fraud charges.
“‘Were you raped, love?'” said Sharon, pretending to interview Teresa. “God, I hope she wasn’t. At least she would have gotten some enjoyment out of it!”

Shamefully, none of Sharon’s co-hosts spoke up — with Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen and the others all giggling along and making shocked faces.
It finally took some shaming via social media for Sharon to finally apologize for making a joke out of sexual assault.
“We’ve had a lot of people that have been on social media online saying I shouldn’t made the comment about rape and the thing that in the context that it was used,” said the chastened host — who then insisted that she was misunderstood.
