LATIN sexpotl SOFIA VERGARA is keeping her Hollywood success all in the “Modern Family!”
The 40-year-old beauty has pulled strings to land some plum Hollywood gigs for her younger sister – and there’s more to come.
“Sofia’s on a mission to share her good fortune with her family, and it’s already paying off for her little sister Sandra,” a source told The ENQUIRER.
“Sandra has been acting on Latin American TV in the past and had bit parts in the States. But as soon as Sofia got famous, her management also started handling Sandra. Sofia then had her publicist start working for Sandra, and she started getting more auditions. Thanks to Sofia, Sandra recently got cast in a juicy guest role on ‘CSI.’”
Sandra, 24 – who is actually Sofia’s biological cousin and was adopted by the Vergara family as a child in Colombia – plays a Latin pop star with a killer on her trail on the top-rated CBS crime drama.
The episode is scheduled to air Feb. 13.
Now Sofia is trying to get her hit ABC sitcom “Modern Family” to cast Sandra as her baby sister.
“They haven’t added a storyline for her yet, but Sofia is determined to make Sandra as big a star as she is,” said the source. “And she’s urging her handsome college student son Manolo to get in front of the cameras.
“Since Sofia hit it big, she wants all her family members to come to the U.S. – and there’s nothing she wants more than to make a Hollywood film with Sandra.”
