Months ago, The ENQUIRER reported that Disney tween queen Miley Cyrus would love to star in "a younger, cleaner version of Sex and the City."
It would appear Sex scribe Candace Bushnell has answered her prayers.
Bushnell is mining the Sex franchise for all its worth with a new prequel series of Young Adult books called The Carrie Diaries about the character’s formative High School years to be published by Harper Collins.
Harper Collins just happens to be partnered with Hyperion/Disney Books on their imprint line.
Disney’s Miley-starring Hannah Montana franchise is a gold mine for the Mouse Haus.
Since Miley is self confessed SATC fan the casting for teen Carrie is a real no-brainer.
