It’s the Hulkster vs. wife Linda in another scintillating Hogan battle of wit and defamation!
In Round One, Hulk aka Terry Bollea says in an interview in Rolling Stone,”I could’ve turned everything into a crime scene, like O.J. (SIMPSON) , cutting everybody’s throat. You see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, sleeping in your bed, with your wife. I mean, I totally understand O.J."
He, of course is metaphorically referring to his lovely marriage to former wife Linda, the mother of their erstwhile children, upstanding citizen Nick and prim and the prim and proper pole dancing Brooke.
Linda then fired back : “Hulk thinks he can do whatever he wants, to whomever he wants, whenever he wants. He is your classic narcissist who demands total control and will go to any extent necessary to get it. His violent and scary mood swings have been my nightmare for too many years. I hope for the sake of our kids that he gets the psychological help for himself and the safety of others."
To which Hulk’s rep stated, brandishing legal-ese: "Hulk in no way condones the O.J. situation. As part of a larger conversation, he referred to it to exemplify his frustration with his own situation."
Linda’s rep, Gary Smith, then responded to Hulk’s rep statement: "For those who buy his claim the comment was taken out of context, read the rest of Rolling Stone and determine for yourself if his suicidal tendencies coupled with the use of drugs and alcohol make him a danger. His actions in the past years have been very disturbing.”
