Soon-to-be officially divorced HEIDI KLUM wants another crack at being a model wife!
The 39-year-old German beauty plans to wed her bodyguard boyfriend Martin Kirsten as soon as the ink is dry on her divorce from Seal, say insiders.
“Heidi says if Martin doesn’t propose to her by Christmas, she’s going to propose herself,” revealed a friend. “She says he treats her better than any man she’s ever had in her life, and they’re planning their future together.”
The supermodel married 49-year-old Seal in 2005 and together they have two boys and a girl. In addition, the “Kiss From a Rose” singer adopted Heidi’s 8-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
But the couple’s once-solid marriage fractured in January when Heidi told pals she could no longer deal with his explosive temper. She filed for divorce in April and began seeing Kirsten, 45, who’s been working security for the family for the past four years.
“When Heidi was at her lowest, Martin told her she had a beautiful spirit and that she deserved to be respected and loved,” said the friend.
“Their friendship has blossomed into a wonderful love affair.”
But Seal could throw a wrench into Heidi’s plans. The bitter singer is demanding 50/50 custody of the children, and that threatens to thwart her goal of a finalized divorce by early next year and a spring wedding to Martin.
Still, Heidi remains optimistic about the future.
Divulged the friend: “She believes he’s the guy who’s going to make her happy for the rest of her life.”
