"GRAVITY” star Sandra Bullock is considering moving out of Hollywood after an intruder broke into her $23 million estate while she and her son Louis were sleeping, reveal insiders.
“This has really creeped Sandra out,” said a source. “She’s worried not only for her own safety, but also for the safety of her little boy.
“She never had problems like this when she lived in Austin or New Orleans. Now Sandra feels like she’s become a target for crazies in L.A., and she’s thinking of moving.”
The break-in was reported to police around 6:30 a.m. on June 8, just hours after the 49-year-old actress appeared at the Spike TV Guys’ Choice Awards.
Police say they caught Joshua Corbett, 39, rummaging through the Oscar-winning beauty’s personal belongings and arrested him on suspicion of residential burglary.
Corbett was said to be “obsessed” with the “Blind Side” star. Records show he’d lived in Glendale, Calif., had a pilot’s license and owned a plane.
Sandra bought the sprawling five-bedroom, seven-bathroom 8,100-square-foot Bel-Air mansion in 2011. She also reportedly owns a beachfront home on Georgia’s Tybee Island and a three-bedroom bungalow near the Chateau Marmont in L.A., as well as her place in New Orleans.
The “Heat” star had settled in Austin with her adopted son after her five-year marriage to Jesse James ended in divorce in June 2010. But she put that home on the market and moved back to L.A. for work reasons.
“Now, Sandra is thinking of saying goodbye to Hollywood… again,” said the source. “This episode has her scared to death!”
