Rap pioneer Sandy ‘Peppa’ Denton new tell-all rubs salt in still festering wounds.
Peppa (of Salt-n-Peppa), who once was married to Treach of Naughty by Nature and had a child with rapper Tah-Tah, never got over the savagery of an ex-lover she only refers to as "Brad".
"I had the hot iron in my hand and he had a handful of my hair," she wrote. "He grabbed the hand with the iron in it and was pushing toward my face!
"He ended up pressing that hot iron against my other arm. I heard my flesh sizzling, and the smell was sickening. I started screaming from the pain.
"He dropped the iron and I turned to run, and his nail swiped across my eyeball and shredded my cornea."
Thankfully, the deft hands of a surgeon repaired most of the damage and despite being thrown through a window by "Brad" at actor Omar Epps house, Denton remains peppery.
But since those days she says she’s sworn off men.
Any wonder why?
