Seen over 9.3 million times on YouTube since it was posted last Tuesday and reported on and shown by numerous news outlets is nothing more than an elaborate prank orchestrated by Kimmell.
No doubt you;’ve seen it in this age of instant gratifications – it’s the video where the girl twerking alone in her apartment inadvertently sets herself on fire and aburptly ends.
ABC's late-night host Kimmell revealed that he and his team were behind the video, which stars stuntwoman Daphne Avalon.
“Even though the video was fake, that did not stop hundreds of news outlets from showing it,” Kimell said. “ Some people even blamed Miley Cyrus, as if this was her fault.”
