DR. PHIL’s wife ROBIN McGRAW has vowed to make 2013 a VERY special year – by using her amazing talents to make a loving impact on the lives of countless children.

THE BIGHEARTED BEAUTY, who turns 60 this year but looks decades younger, has been a goodwill ambassador for The Dr. Phil Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization that helps disadvantaged families. But superbusy Robin is also engaged in an exciting, less visible challenge.

The multitalented personality is a powerful force behind an organization that works with the courts to find advocates for abused and neglected youngsters.

“Having raised two wonderful boys, Jay and Jordan, Robin’s love of children has pointed her in new directions where she can use her visibility to help make a difference,” a friend told The ENQUIRER.

“She’s a much sought-after public speaker and consistently raises Dr. Phil’s ratings when she appears, but she still finds the time for these organizations.

“Robin has started off the year with a bang – determined to make a big difference in 2013.”

Her work with her husband’s charity is well-known. She helps build awareness and offers solutions to address the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual needs of children and families.

On top of that, she’s also lending her considerable talents to Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA).

This wonderful group works with courts so troubled youngsters “can thrive in safe, permanent homes,” according to Robin’s website.

Amazingly, Robin has also found time to become a successful author – with the No. 1 “New York Times” best-selling book “Inside My Heart” and “What’s Age Got To Do With It?”

She walked down the aisle with Dr. Phil in 1976 and revealed to an interviewer a major reason their marriage continues to flourish. “I know his heart,” she said. “I can take one look at him and know how happy he is.”
