REVEALED: BARBARA WALTERS’ BUCKET LIST

BARBARA WALTERS

BARBARA WALTERS has put together an amazing "to do" list for her retirement. Her top priority, says a source, is helping her troubled daughter — busted for drunk-driving recently. After that she wants to get married for the FOURTH time!

Days after the 83-year-old news legend announced the end of her long and illustrious TV career next summer, her 44-year-old adopted daughter JACQUELINE DANFORTH was arrested for DUI in Naples, Florida.

A friend told The ENQUIRER, "Barbara and Jackie have been at odds for years. Barbara has tried to bring the two closer and was shattered when she found out about Jackie's arrest.

"The first call Jackie made from jail was to her mom and Barbara promised to help her. This incident may be the spark that brings then closer."

The "20/20" co-host and creator of "The View" has been married three times and Jacqueline was adopted by Barbara and second husband Lee Guber in 1968.

They divorced eight years later. Following Turbulent teenage years, Jacqueline made a public vow to get her life back on track but her new problems come "at a time when her mother was looking forward to dramatically changing her own lifestyle" the source said.

"Barbara's fondest memories center around being in love and she wants to experience one last great romance," added the source. "She wants to feel that rush of passion again — and even get married!"

The bighearted broadcaster — who lost her sister Jackie to ovarian cancer in 1985 — also wants to spend more time working for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

A huge fan of James Bond films, the former "Today" show host once fantasized about being a Bond girl — but now she'd be happy just to land a small part in a 007 epic.

Plus, she's talked about rocketing into space aboard Virgin Galactic's suborbital space carrier, attending a gourmet cooking school in Paris, taking NASCAR racing lessons, and owning a Kentucky Derby challenger.

"After all that," continued the source, "if Barbara still has a free afternoon, she'd like to have lunch with Pope Francis."
