Grammy nominated rapper Remy Ma got a very harsh sentence from the New York State Supreme Court – 8 years in prison.
Remy Ma alias Remy Smith was convicted on charges of assault, weapons possession and attempted coercion.
Correction officials also closed the book on her Rikers Island wedding to gangsta finacee Papoose when he attempted to smuggle in a handcuff key.
Ma claimed the shooting outside a Manhattan nightclub was "accidental" and plans an appeal.
