REHAB FOR STEVEN TYLER

description

Home for the holidays? Not for Steven Tyler! The Aerosmith frontman has entered a rehabilitation facility to treat an addiction to painkillers.

“With the help of my family and team of medical professionals, I am taking responsibility for the management of my pain and am eager to be back on the stage and in the recording studio with my bandmates Joe Perry, Joey Kramer, Tom Hamilton and Brad Whitford,” Tyler said in a statement.

He added, “I love Aerosmith; I love performing as the lead singer in Aerosmith. I am grateful for all of the support and love I am receiving and am committed to getting things taken care of.”

The 61-year-old rocker fell off the stage during a performance in South Dakota in August and broke his left shoulder. He was also in rehab last year to recover from several foot surgeries and physical therapy. His doctor said he has been struggling with “acute pain for years” due to performance injuries.
