Regis Philbin called into Live With Regis and Kelly on Monday to announce he will be returning to the show on April 26. The TV talker said it will mark six weeks after his triple heart bypass surgery.
Philbin told Kelly Ripa and her co-hosting hubby, Mark Consuelos, that he had been “through the wars” in his recovery.
