Roman Polanski busted by Swiss on 35 year-old warrant but rape victim, now 45, says let him go!
The disgraced director’s biggest defender is the woman he raped as a 13 year old at party pal Jack Nicholson‘s swinger pad in 1978 and she’s written compassionate appeals for the award winning director who’s wife was brutally slaughtered by the Manson Helter Skelter killers 40 years ago.
"I have survived, indeed prevailed, against whatever harm Mr. Polanski may have caused me as a child," Samanatha Geimer said in 1997 when Polanski filed a formal request that LA prosecutors drop the long standing arrest warrant for the Oscar winner. "I got over it a long time ago."
The last time Geimer saw Polanski was when the aspiring model, then 13, was lured into a hot tub after being plying with Champagne and a Quaalude by Polanski who then took nude pictures of her, before having sex with her.
Polanski later pleaded guilty to having sex with a minor.
After being the subject of intense media scrutiny when the case when public, she was thrilled when Polanski escaped imprisonment by fleeing the U.S.
"He did something really gross to me, but it was the media that ruined my life," she said’
Meanwhile Polanski was to attend a Swiss Film Festival, when the ever neutral Swiss, decide to get proactive, arresting the refugee director with a 35 year request for extradition papers.
