Singer RANDY TRAVIS crumbles during performance – in a room full of doctors!
Travis,52, in the middle of one of his songs and fainted before fans.
Luckily, he was playing to packed house full of docs during The Crystal Heart Gala, an annual benefit for the Huguley Memorial Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
Drs. Jeff Beeson and Steve Davis rushed to the stricken singer’s aid.
The docs told AP that Travis had been battling laryngitis due to chronic allergies.
He had taken several over-the-counter medications.
"Mr. Travis was overcome by a combination of dehydration, over-the-counter allergy medications, and caffeine use," the statement said.
"This, combined with the heat of the stage lights, caused him to pass out."
Randy is now resting at home, The ENQUIRER has learned, and hopes to resume his tour shortly.
