Chaos ensued in Chicago’s Cook County as the much postponed R. Kelly child pornography trial began.
R&B superstar, Robert Kelly, is backed up against the wall because of a 15 minute videotape shot six years ago.
Kelly’s attorneys have asked for a yet another postponement because of the escalating media circus from around the world.
Kelly is alleged to have shot a three way sexual encounter and the prosecution’s case rests on bed-witness testimony.
Reportedly one of Kelly’s partners was underage — possibly as young as 13 — at the time of the video.
Cook County Judge Vincent Gaughan denied the postponement and R. Kelly entered the courthouse today about 45 minutes late, making way through teeming throngs.
