Singing thesp Queen Latifah is not amused.
She’s suing a small production company that financed the movie The Perfect Holiday for paychecks never received.
Legal eagles for the Oscar-nommed and Grammy winner performer said in a suit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court that she was owed $275,000 for a cameo in the film from Perfect Christmas Productions.
Latifah a.k.a. Dana Owens also produced the film which was released in December 2007 with co-stars Terence Howard and Gabrielle Union.
According to Mojo Box Office reports the film grossed more than $5.8 mil by February.
Latifah’s lawyers claim the production company hired to make the film was paid additional $ by third parties and the Queen is demanding her due.
