Honor Blackman, "Pussy Galore" in the James Bond classic Goldfinger turned down an invite from one-time Avengers costar Patrick MacNee for a round of nude tennis.
Blackman who teamed with MacNee prior to Diana Rigg in the UK seminal arch-pop spy series The Avengers rebuffed "John Steed" MacNee’s offer, citing the eccentric thesp often played tennis in the raw at a nudist colony he was a member of.
"I was in L.A. once and Patrick MacNee lives there," Honor recalled.
"He said, ‘Oh darling, do come. Come up early because I will be playing tennis and you can watch us… in the nude.’
"Can you imagine watching them with everything wiggling about!" the former Pussy exclaimed.
"Can you imagine what it would have been like?!"
Shaken but definitely NOT stirred.
