KERRY WASHINGTON may have a “Scandal” of her own brewing – a source says her new marriage already has hit a rocky patch after only 6 months!
The 36-year-old mom-to-be – who wed ex-NFL hunk Nnamdi Asomugha in June – may be jeopardizing her happy home with her career obsession and ambition, a source says.
“Hurricane Kerry is on the go 24-7!” an insider told The ENQUIRER.
“Nnamdi is complaining she has time to promote her TV show, business ventures and charities, but she rarely spares an evening to be home with him.”
According to the source, Nnamdi said he is concerned that they’re already growing apart.
Since earning a Best Actress Golden Globe nomination, Kerry seems to have amped up her workload even more.
“Instead of slowing down during her show’s Christmas hiatus, Kerry funneled her extra time into her fashion consultation business and her responsibilities as a creative consultant for Neutrogena cosmetics,” said the source.
The sexy actress starred in last year’s hit movie “Django Unchained” and anchors ABC’s political thriller “Scandal” as Capitol Hill “fixer” Olivia Pope.
The in-demand beauty also recently appeared on “Saturday Night Live,” playing first lady Michelle Obama and showbiz icon Oprah Winfrey.
“Kerry feels she can balance a public life and private life with Nnamdi and their baby,” said the source.
“But Nnamdi is not convinced. They’ve had several blow-ups, and each time Kerry swears she’s going to slow down.
“But in the end she may lose something that doesn’t come along very often – a loving husband.”
