Pregnant “Desperate Housewives” star Marcia Cross is battling severe morning sickness and fearing a miscarriage, The ENQUIRER has learned.
The 44-year-old actress — who is due to have twins in April — has asked show execs to lighten her workload and is already having trouble getting around because of weight gain, severe fatigue, bloating and joint pain, say sources.
“Ever since she got pregnant Marcia’s felt sick, and the situation has continued to get worse,” revealed an insider.
Eventually, the star — who plays perfectionist Bree — may have to stay in bed, which could wreak havoc with the show, confided the insider.
A 44-year-old woman in Marcia’s condition is at an increased risk of serious pregnancy problems, say medical experts.
