Ex-Prez BILL CLINTON slammed current President OBAMA as an "amateur," according to new book.
"Barack Obama is an amateur," he said, according to the book. “The economy’s a mess, it’s dead flat. America has lost its Triple-A rating."
Clinton made the alleged cheerleading remarks to his wife, Sec-O-State Hilary Clinton, in an effort last summer to convince her to challenge the incumbent in the 2012 elections.
"You know better than Obama does,” Bill told Hilary, adding he thought the current president “doesn’t know how to be president” and is “incompetent,” writes Edward Klein in "The Amateur"
Bill also tries to coax Hilary, telling her, “The country needs you!” and jokingly “They need US!”
According to the book, Bill says he wasn't necessarily "young enough” to help her for a 2016 run.
Hilary told him she's "the highest-ranking member in Obama’s Cabinet," eats "breakfast with the guy every Thursday morning" and is loyal to President Obama.
“Loyalty is a joke,’’ Bill told her. “Loyalty doesn’t exist in politics.”
Clinton’s spokesman Matt McKenna called the quotes “totally and completely false," noting Klein — an ex-editor of publications like The New York Times Magazine and Newsweek — is “a known liar,” RadarOnline.com reported.
