Rikki Rockett, drummer for 80s hair band Poison, has been cleared of all rape charges in Jackson, Mississippi.
Local authorities have determined the Poison band member was not even in the state at the time.
Rockett had been accused of raping a woman at a casino in 2007 and was later arrested in March 2008.
Cops have put out a dragnet for John Minskoff who police allege has a history of impersonating the rock star to pick up groupies.
Rockett a.k.a. Richard Ream said he’s never been arrested prior to this incident and feared it would tarnish his rep.
"That is one word you don’t want associated with your name," Rockett stated, after being cleared.
"Rape is right up there with murder and child molestation."
