TV cop and former real-life cop, Dennis Farina, was booked by LAPD on a felony charge.
He had a loaded gun in his briefcase as he tried to board a plane at LAX.
Farina, who told cops, he had forgotten he had put the .22 semi automatic in his case, spent most of Mother’s Day in a Van Nuys jail awating arraignment and was finally released on $35,000 bail.
Farina had no permit and no explanation why he made such a dim-witted move.
Farina was with the Chicago police department for twenty years before playing cops and movie tough guys.
