Loudon, 31, has asked one of his pals to look for engagement rings for him, out in the Cotswolds, the UK Mail reports.
Pippa and Alex have been dating for three years and there were even rumors of engagement before the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announced they were getting married.
But by avoiding jewelry shops himself, Alex may be hoping to divert media attention away from his nefarious nuptials ops.
Loudon, no doubt, would like to ideally keep their engagement a secret for as long as possible, but when you’re courting Pippa, the sister of the most famous woman in England, there’s no escaping the Fourth Estate.
