“Mission Impossible 4” star JEREMY RENNER in wild melee that left one man slashed with an axe!
The “Hurt Locker” hunk was attacked in Phuket, Thailand in an early morning bar brawl that erupted into bloody violence. One man was left man in serious condition after being gored in the neck with a deadly rotor axe.
Thai law enforcement said Jeremy and his possey had been bar hopping in the seamier districts of Phuket.
After hours at 430 AM at a seamy violence exploded after one of Renner’s Regulars — Vorasit Issara, the General Manager of the Siri Panwa Resort — dropped a glass on the floor.
THAT, apparently, started the wild ruckus.
According to cops, six men who worked at the bar then allegedly attacked Renner, Vorasit and the rest of their group.
Not only was Vorasit slashed in the neck with the axe but he was also stabbed in the stomach with a knife.
Vorasit was drinking and had been in a heated argument with the bar staff immediately before the dropped drink brouhaha.
Luckily, Jeremy Renner suffered only minor injuries.
Most hurt was his manly action-star pride — soon to be seen as Hawkeye in "The Avengers".
UPDATED: 1130 PM EST Renner's rep now says the star left the bar when the fight broke out and suffered no injuries.
