Promo-ing new tell-all shocker High on Arrival on Oprah Winfrey Show, the former drug addict explained how her sick sexual relationship with Mammas & Pappas founder father John Philips finally ended .
"I became pregnant and I was in a relationship with my son’s father as well; he knew nothing," Phillips told Oprah.
"I did not know who the father was. The implications, the reality of that… I had an abortion and I never let him touch me again."
Phillips revealed her father paid for the abortion, adding, "He knew it might be his child."
MacKenzie also revealed, sickeningly, the incest which continued for ten years, was consensual. John Phillips, 65, died in 2001 from heart failure after a lifetime of drug abuse.
Step-mother singer/actress Michelle Phillips told The Hollywood Reporter: "John was a bad parent, and a drug addict. But HIS daughter? If she thinks it’s true, why isn’t she with a good psychiatrist on a couch?
"I think it’s unconscionable that Oprah would let her do her show. I have every reason to believe it’s untrue. Oprah should be more judicious about who she has on her show."
