PHELPS BONGERS ARRESTED

description

The fellow party-ers in Fishy Phelps Bong-Gate behind bars!

Local Sheriff Leon Lott has been taking a lot of heat after the photos of disgraced Olympian Michael Phelps smoking a bong were seen ’round the world.

The party took place in November in Richland County at a house on Blossom Street near Five Points which is in Lotts’ jurisdiction.

And now slowly but surely the police have been building a case.

They’ve just made eight arrests – seven for drug possession and one for distribution.

The police have located and seized the infamous bong from the owner who was trying to unload it as a "collector’s item" on eBay.  He had hoped to get as much as $10,000 for the Phelps party paraphernalia.

The bong owner wasn’t even at the party but he’s been busted now too.

Phelps has not been charged yet but strong evidence links the fish-man to the crime beyond a mere photo.

Governor Mark Sanford
may weight in on whether or not to go after Phelps based on what the Sheriff’s does or doesn’t do, according to local news station WISTV.
