Jackie O – notorious cheapskate!
According to new book The President’s Table, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy would serve expensive bottles of wine for the first course of state dinners.
She then replaced the empties with a cheaper wine for the second course.
"Jackie believed her guests wouldn’t know the difference", author Barry Landau revealed to The New York Post.
And she was right.
Jackie also kept two sets of books, one for her records and one for JFK, who was always trying not to appear too rich.
Either that or she was skimming off the profits for new pillbox hats!
