PAULA ABDUL: ‘LIVE’ IT TO DIVA

description

"I’m NOT happy!" Those working with PAULA ABDUL on her new show Live To Dance have been hearing those words A LOT lately.

When the choreographer, 48,  left American Idol, she took her demanding diva attitude with her, they say.

Hard-to-please Paula, who is executive-producing the eight-episode series in addition to her on-camera role as a "dance expert," is complaining about everything from refreshments to wardrobe to the stage.

"Paula has been out of control on the set,"disclosed a show insider. "Her favorite phrase is ‘I’m not happy’ – and she’s not happy a lot.

"She started with the food in her dressing room. When she didn’t see her favorite Jolly Rancher candies – she hit the roof.

"And when she had to go searching for Vitaminwater, she complained bitterly, saying she wasn’t getting the respect she deserved."

According to the insider, at a recent promo shoot, Paula kept everyone waiting while she changed her clothes several times because she thought they didn’t fit right.

"Finally, after six or seven changes, she gave her approval to be photographed, but she still wasn’t thrilled," said the insider. "She’s been driving everyone else on the show crazy!"

Paula wants her new show, which premieres tonight, Jan. 4, premiere, to bury Idol in the ratings. As The ENQUIRER reported in October, Paula predicted the demise of the FOX hit after her departure.

"Now Paula is demanding that CBS cough up huge amounts of money to promote Live To Dance," added the insider.

"She wants Idol to regret letting her go."

Revenge is a dish best served Paula.
