HOW “Millionaire Matchmaker” Patti Stanger is pushing her toy boy to the altar!
Sources say the never-wed reality TV star suggested a romantic vacation in Hawaii to get her 44-year-old beau, David Krausse, in a marrying mood.
“Patti and David went to Maui to celebrate her 53rd birthday, but she had another agenda, as well,” said a source close to her.
“While they were there, Patti planned to talk about tying the knot.”
Patti began dating David, a photography and fitness buff who also builds websites, in March 2012 after they met online, and they moved in
together last year. But sources say he’s been dragging his feet about getting hitched.
“In her heart, Patti believes David is the one for her and she doesn’t want to wait any longer,” said the source.
“She’s ready to set a wedding date and start making plans. Then, the next step will be adopting a child together.”
“Because he has two older kids, we talked about adopting older children, around 5 years old,” said Patti. The couple’s exotic Hawaiian getaway
was also an attempt to erase Patti’s troubled romantic past, insiders say.
In 2003, she started dating Andy Friedman, a real-estate executive she’d met through a matchmaker.
He reportedly proposed on her birthday in 2009, but in august 2010, Patti announced that she was ending their relationship.
a romance with John Matthews, a man she chose after being matched on her own show, also fizzled. Now Patti claims her love affair with Krausse has succeeded because she followed the advice in her book, “Become Your own Matchmaker.”
“I did everything I wrote in there,” she said.
“I’m shocked it worked, to be honest with you. It works for other people, but for me, I didn’t know it would!”
