Swayze Widow Snubs Patrick’s Family

FIVE years after the death of actor Patrick Swayze, his widow LISA NIEMI has kicked his family to the curb – literally!

Sources say Lisa booted Patrick’s youngest brother, truck driver Sean, and his family out of the home they shared with the “Ghost” star’s late mother.

Then, to add insult to injury, Lisa failed to invite her former in-laws to her glitzy wedding to a successful businessman.

“None of us (Swayzes) were invited to Lisa’s wedding,” Patrick’s brother Don told The ENQUIRER.

“We didn’t even know about the wedding until we read about it online. Lisa wasn’t exactly warm and fuzzy to our family, and after Mom died last year she didn’t get any closer to us.”

The late actor’s beloved mother Patsy, a former dance instructor and choreographer, died of stroke complications on Sept. 16, 2013, at age 86 in her home in Simi Valley, Calif.

“Patrick bought that house for his mom several years ago, and she shared it with Sean, his wife Jami and their children,” a family friend told The ENQUIRER.

When Patrick died in September 2009 at age 57 after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer, Lisa inherited his entire estate, including the Simi Valley house.

“I think Lisa couldn’t wait for Patrick’s mother to die so she could kick them all to the curb. And basically, that’s just what happened,” said the family friend.

“Not only did Lisa give them the boot, she insisted they vacate the home 30 days earlier than the original date they’d been given.”

Lisa, who was married to the “Dirty Dancing” star for 34 years, is also selling her late husband’s New Mexico ranch, according to the source.

“The ranch was Patrick’s favorite place in the world,” noted the source. “His ashes were scattered there. It’s as if Lisa wants to wipe the slate clean as she starts her new married life.”

As The ENQUIRER has reported, mutual friends introduced Lisa to her new love, wealthy jeweler Albert DePrisco, in early 2012, and they hit it off immediately. The couple, both 58, tied the knot before 50 guests at Donald Trump’s posh Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Fla., on May 25.

“Lisa did not invite Patrick’s family to the wedding,” said the source. “She always thought she was better than the Swayzes, who are working-class folks. Having any of them there would have been hugely embarrassing for her.”

Meanwhile, her former brother-in-law Sean and his family are “handling this with dignity, strength and class,” said the insider.

“It’s been a tough transition for them. But they’re working hard to hopefully someday have their own home again. For now they’re living in a less than desirable neighborhood in the Los Angeles area.”
