description

Mr. Miracle Patrick Swayze says his dead father is watching over him from beyond the grave!

In an interview with ABC’s Barbara Walters the death-defying, pancreatic cancer stricken thesp candidly speaks about life –and after life — especially his late father who passed from a heart attack in 1992.

"I like to believe that I’ve got a lot of guardian warriors sitting on my shoulder, including my dad," Swayze confessed.

"And so, I’m trying to shut up and let my angels speak to me and, and tell me what I’m supposed to do. What winning is to me is not giving up, is no matter what’s thrown at me, I can take it. And I can keep going."

Swayze’s fight against pancreatic cancer which included juicing, Chinese herbs, no more chemo (and still smoking cigarettes) has made him more aware of life after death.

"I don’t know what’s on the other side,” The Dirty Dancing star admitted.

“It tests everything I believe in… that here is something unique in all of us that does not, does not die."

Swayze. in his interview. also confided that smoking probably contributed to his cancer said that his time on earth with wife Lisa Niemi and  family is realistically pretty limited.

"Two years seems likely if you’re going to believe statistics."

So far Swayze has defied the odds after receiving a death sentence upon diagnosis that he’d be gone in five months.  He recently completed shooting the first season of The Beast for A&E.

“I want to last until they find a cure, which means I’d better get a fire under it."
