Despite manipulating cable programmers to find a new BFF, she reveals  ex Benji Madden nixed straight guys to audition for her  Best Friend  because the Good Charlotte rocker didn’t want Paris getting too close with hetero males.

“There were a lot of straight people who tried out but he didn't really believe they wanted to be my best friend, he thought they wanted to be more so we didn't allow any straight boys,” Paris confessed.

"I've been offered to do one of those dating shows and I don't like that idea, I thought it would be much better to find a friend rather than a lover.”
