Coupled with the Adam Sandler hair salon action comedy You Don’t Mess With the Zohan ($40 mil) toppled Cosmo-charting Sex and The City from First to Fourth Place with $21.3 Mil – a fairly steep decline from those Manolos after $56.8 mil debut.
Indy is still holding onto a burly Number Three as Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull netted $22.8 million.
Dreamworks’ Kung Fu Panda (which also features the voice of Angelina Jolie) had the best opening ever for a non-sequel cartooner.
