OPRAH MEETS RIELLE!

As The ENQUIRER FIRST revealed in a world exclusive, talk show titan Oprah Winfrey met John Edwards mistress  Rielle Hunter at her home in Meyer's Park, Charlotte, N.C. yesterday for a tell-all blockbuster interview.

Oprah sat down with the new-age temptress and mother of Edwards' love child for an interview that The ENQUIRER  reported exclusively will be aired during the crucial May sweeps.

Oprah talked to Hunter for about two and a half hours on the record.

Winfrey said she found Rielle to be "genuine, I thought, and authentic.

"And I think we'll see a side of her that certainly, I've never known. And I enjoyed the conversation, really.

"I had no resistance from Rielle Hunter on any questions whatsoever.

"She was really forthcoming, she was very open, she was very candid, and I would have to say, I felt pretty truthful."

As The ENQUIRER FIRST reported  Edwards is behind Reille's rush to media  with her headline making GQ interview and now her first sit -down TV interview with the reigning queen of the media.

Edwards is also believed to be the legal brains behind Rielle's war with former loyalist Andrew Young over the Edwards-Hunter sex tape which, Young  says, the FBI has a copy.

Bear in mind, that Edwards, a former cagey trial lawyer, is thisclose to being indicted by a Federal Grand Jury investigating misuse of Presidential campaign funds to orchestrate an elaborate conspiracy of silence.

Both John and Elizabeth Edwards announced their split after he publicly admitted paternity of  his love child Frances Quinn.

North Carolina law stipulates a couple must be separated for a full year before  divorce proceedings can begin.
